Ground transportation to North Captiva Island will also include a pre-ordered grocery stop (15 minutes or less) at no additional charge. The Publix at Coral Shores is the most convenient location to pick up pre-ordered groceries, their phone number is (239) 282-5515. There is also a Wine and Spirits store named Friendly Frankie's located in the same plaza, their phone number is (239) 283-6185.

Ride Sharing
Services such as Uber or Lyft are available from most airport locations for transport to the water taxi however, it is very difficult to find a driver for these services from Pine Island. We recommend scheduling an airport transfer in advance to be at the ferry waiting for your trip back to the airport.
FERRY SERVICE
The most popular option and our recommended service provider is Island Girl Charters.
You can call Island Girl Charters directly to book your water taxi reservations or book online. They book up quickly during peak seasons and times. It is important you book your water taxi as soon as possible. Overnight parking is $10 per night.
Directions to Pineland Marina - Island Girl Charters
From I-75, get off at exit 143 (SR78 or Pine Island Rd) and go west. Follow Pine Island Road (SR78) through Matlacha to the 4-way stop. Turn right (North) onto Stringfellow Road.
The turn off for Pineland Marina is 3 miles north on Stringfellow Road. Turn left on Pineland Road. This will turn onto Waterfront Drive and you will see us on the left, nestled on the shores of Pine Island Sound.

If you are looking for a more personal experience and opt for a private charter there are many options available. Here are the ones that we personally recommend.
Kale Dudding (806) 790-8737 – Kale and his wife Sarah live on the island full time and are the property managers for North Captiva Pearl. They offer customized boat tours and water taxi services to fit your needs during your stay.
Services include: Private Water Taxi Service - Customized service to and from the island.
Eco Tours – Can be customized to include – Shelling on Cayo Costa, Lunch at Cabbage Key, Snorkeling at various sites, and visiting area sandbars for swimming. Tours can be adjusted from 3 to 4 hours.
Lunch and Shopping on Captiva – Lunch at the Green Flash Restaurant and casual shopping at the local island shops.
